A crumpled map of the interstate is spread across the desk. DEJA (into recorder) Day four. Still no sign of the truck. Still no sign of Marcus Webb. The last person who saw him alive said he stopped at the Cordova rest stop around eleven PM. After that... She trails off. Stares at the map. DEJA (CONT'D) After that, nothing. A sound — soft, distant. Like a CB radio frequency bleeding through. Deja freezes.
